T. H. Weatherly opened the office of T. H. Weatherly Realty as a Broker in 1978. In April, 1985 he received the "CRB" designation from Realtors National Marketing Institute. In February, 1986, he received the "GRI" designation from the National Association of Realtors.

He was the first licensed Real Estate Agent in the history of Hazlehurst and Jeff Davis County and is the only "Realtor". Weatherly is also a licensed Certified General Real Estate Appraiser by the State of Georgia and the only Certified Real Estate Appraiser in Jeff Davis County. He has many years experience in appraising residential, agricultural, commercial, and industrial properties, as well as work in litigation for divorces, condemnations, etc.
